The spices, traditions & flavors of fall
As summer gives way to autumn, the flavors of the season begin to change. Apples, toasted nuts and warming spices like cinnamon and clove return to the pastry kitchen, bringing with them traditions that stretch back centuries.
At Emporio Rulli, these ingredients have always marked the arrival of fall. From the Old World traditions of Pan dei Morti and Panforte to Northern California's Gravenstein apples, each tells its own story of the season.
Welcome to autumn at Emporio Rulli.

Pan dei Morti
A Milanese classic, Pan dei Morti is prepared with almonds, raisins, pine nuts, candied orange peel, and warm spices. Traditionally enjoyed for All Souls’ Day, this spiced pastry has become one of our most beloved autumn specialties.

Panforte Rulli
One of Siena’s oldest confections, Panforte has been a Rulli specialty for decades. Our version is prepared with candied fruits, honey, toasted almonds, hazelnuts and seven spices, creating its distinctive chewy texture and deeply aromatic flavor.

Pumpkin Spice Latte
Our house-roasted espresso blended with pumpkin spices, served hot or iced, with the option of fresh whipped cream. Comforting, aromatic and a perfect companion to Pan dei Morti.
